Radicchio is a salad type of Italian origin. The salad has a delicate bitter taste and is included in many dishes in the Mediterranean kitchen. The beautiful salad is very good in combination with other salads. Radicchio can withstand cold and can be harvested far into autumn. It grows a bit slowly and it is therefore a good idea to indoor cultivate it in march.
