A flower I remember as a child in the 80s. Eternity flowers, strawflowers. Loving them for the crackling sound of paper they make when working with them. And an opportunity to do some garden crafts indoors in the winter. Wreath binding, or just like here, on a small plate on the table.
Strawflowers are super easy to grow, needs no stacking. Guess who loves the long flowering season? The bees and butterflies 🙂
Can be used as a fresh cut flower and are ideal for drying, bouquets, or wreaths. The flowers keep their color for several years if kept out of sunlight. Colors in eternity flower mix: orange-red, purple, pink, yellow, orange, and white.
