Description
Karmazyn – The beautiful pink bean.
Broad beans can be many different colors – green, black-purple, pink and almost white.
On this beautiful upright bean plant, long pods grow with approx. 5 medium-sized green / pink fava beans – or broad beans, as they are also called. The beans are eaten very young, blanched or raw. When they grow up, the bean turns pink. Sown outdoors from mid-February to mid-April. Can also be dried and eaten in hot dishes. This bean is the only bean plant where one can eat it raw. Even the top shoot from the plant tastes good for peas. Try them in the salad.
